Chandra Wilson and Folgers® Gourmet Selections™ teamed up to help people realize their dream of waking up special in a home of their own. As a

result, a vacant lot in L.A. was transformed into a lively village of 14 townhomes for hardworking families. In conjunction with Habitat for Humanity®-Greater Los Angeles, Chandra and other volunteers worked alongside future residents in a unified effort to improve the quality of life for people like the Laolagi family (see photo at right).
The Laolagis have lived in their L.A. home for more than 10 years and have faced growing problems with substandard plumbing, faulty electrical wiring, and vermin trouble. But now, with the help of Habitat for Humanity and Folgers, the Laolagis and 13 other families will be getting a brand-new house they can call home.
